Hello! Welcome back to our Legoland series! We were absolutely overjoyed to be hosted by Legoland and were so excited to be also invited to explore Sea Life Legoland as well as Legoland Water Park!
After a fun morning of exploring Legoland Boo and I had worked up an appetite and were ready for lunch! I highly recommend having a meal at the Ocean Journey Cafe! This was such a cute place for a meal before we went into explore Sea Life! As a mom and a diabetic I was impressed with how many healthy choices were available and also kid friendly which made my son very happy! My son was thrilled to eat his meal while watching fish inside a HUGE aquarium and to be surrounded by Lego figures and even a giant shark!
After lunch Boo grabbed my hand and said, “Mama! Let’s go to the Aquarium!!! ” We happily headed to the entrance and he was given a Dive Log Book to help him navigate all the wondrous sea life we would encounter. He was so excited to collect a stamp in his guide book for all 9 Dive Stations we came to! He loved exploring and seeing all of the underwater creatures, but his favorite spot was a new exhibit called Discover Sea At Night!!
This exhibit was SO amazing! It allows you to jump into a virtual bioluminescent tide and see the tiny single-celled organisms that are related to the plankton family light up as you walk along the shore!
After leaving the aquarium we were tired but happy after a long fun day of living the Lego life! We decided to head over to Legoland Water Park to cool off and relax!
WOW!! We had a BLAST! We walked around and explored happily splashing and getting wet along the way! Truly there was something here for everyone to enjoy! One thing that stood out to me and filled my heart with joy was seeing all of the parents actively playing and enjoying right along with their kiddos! This is one of the most family friendly and fun water parks we have been to and we live in the Phoenix area… land of water parks LOL but this park outshone them all in my opinion!
Boo did not want to go on the larger faster slides and that is absolutely ok… I let him choose which ones we went on and where we explored. He was all smiles when he discovered the Build-A-Raft-River!!! I think we rode this 8 or 9 times! If you have a chance to visit, this is the BEST river EVER! Upon entering you are given your choice of a double tube or a single… We chose single. Then… float away leaving your troubles behind and relax as you soak in that California sun… OR you can do what Boo did and build LEGOS as you float along! YES!!! LEGOS!! Boo was laughing and smiling the whole time and as we would float by Legos he would attach more to his collection!
Finally it was time to change and head back to our hotel but I can’t thank Legoland enough for this amazing experience! **Note to my readers: The water park had very clean locker areas and large, clean family changing rooms available for use. I just mention it because as a mama that is something that is important to me. 🙂
We LOVED our time at Legoland, Legoland Sea Life & Legoland Water Park! I highly recommend this as a family vacation spot!
