Our Disney dream vacation continued at Epcot ! My oldest son was super excited to bring us to visit this park because this is where he’s been working for the semester ( Disney College Program) Boo and I couldn’t wait to get up this morning and make our way to this iconic park!!!
Our day started with an awesome suprise! David made us breakfast reservations at The Garden Grill!
This was such a fun experience for all of us, but when Boo saw some of his fave Disney characters walk right up to our table— his eyes lit up with a huge smile!!! He was bubbling with excitement!
** I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the staff of The Garden Grill… This was several days into our Disney Park vacation, yet this was the first time Disney staff seemed at all concerned I have diabetic dietary needs… I simply asked our waiter to substitute whole wheat toast instead of pancakes because I’m diabetic and what he did next amazes me… He brought the chef out! The chef was kindly and told me the carbs and sugars in each item AND personally brought me fresh fruit with no sauce because they normally make it with a sugar glaze… I am so grateful for them taking the time to make sure my meal was diabetic friendly and we will ALWAYS eat here on our return trips!!!
After breakfast we had so much fun exploring Epcot ! There were so many fun rides to choose from!
We went into Spaceship Earth and got to go on a stimulated space launch on Mission: Space ! The boys went on Chevrolet’s Test Track and after Boo had the time of his life pretending to drive their cars on display!
Boo and I had fun on The Seas with Nemo and Turtle Talk With Crush! Then we went with David on Soarin’ … we LOVED this ride!
Next we made our way over to The World Showcase! It was so cool to see different cultures from around the globe !! We had fun looking in Haciendas in Mexico and riding the Frozen Ride in Norway!
Boo was thrilled to visit China!!! This was his fave part of our entire day! We ate Chinese food, (with chopsticks of course) tried on Chinese hats and played with some awesome toys! We even saw a 360 movie that mad you feel like you were in China!
We had snacks in Germany and Italy before heading to Morocco to listen to some beautiful music!
Of course we had to try a bakery in France and had fun exploring Canada and the United Kingdom as we ended our day of adventure!
Join me next week for the last post in my Disney Series and I’d love to hear from my readers: If you could visit one foreign land, where would it be and why?
